How we work

As a legal technology consultant, we follow the same method on every engagement. It has three steps, and each one has a clear scope.
  1. Diagnostic

We start by learning how your firm works today. The goal is a clear view of what to improve first, and in what order.

    What we do
We review your tools, routines and handoffs. We talk with the people who do the work and look for where time is lost.
    What your firm does
Gives us access to the people who know the process, and shares the tools and examples we need to see how work moves.
  2. Scoped project

A project starts once the diagnostic points to something worth building. The scope is agreed before any work begins.

    What we do
We design, build and connect what was agreed. We review it with you and put it into use with your team.
    What your firm does
Names one person to make decisions, answers questions as they come up and reviews the work at each stage.
  3. Ongoing support

After launch we stay available. Monthly support keeps what we built working as your firm changes.

    What we do
We fix problems, apply updates and make small improvements.
    What your firm does
Reports issues and requests as they come up, and lets us know when its own processes change.

How we communicate

We keep communication plain and regular. You have one point of contact on our side, and we explain things in clear language rather than technical terms.

Before work starts, we agree how updates are shared and who approves what.

How the scope is closed before work starts

Before a project begins, we write down the scope. The written scope states:

  • What will be built
  • How it will work
  • What is not included
  • What your firm needs to provide

You review it, ask questions and approve it. Only then does the work start.

If something changes later, we discuss it and agree on it first, so the scope does not move without you knowing.

From project to monthly support

When a project ends, support does not have to. Before launch, we agree on what monthly support will cover, so the handover is planned and not improvised.

Support starts after launch, and your firm decides whether to continue with it.

Talk about the first step

Book a consultation and tell us about your firm. We will explain what a diagnostic would look like for you.
